Here are some suggested questions to answer after you watch the mini-lesson:
1. Where does salt come from?
2. What did this lesson make you curious about? What other questions do you have about salt?
Bonus Activity: How salty is ocean water? Add one teaspoon of salt to 1 1/4 cups of water. Stir until the salt disappears. Put a drop of the salty water on your tongue. It will taste just as salty as ocean water! Leave the salty water in a warm spot until all the water dries up. What is left behind?
