Good morning Sierra View! A School Site Council (SSC) is a collaborative team of parents, teachers, school staff, and administrators working together to support student success. It serves as an advisory and decision-making body that ensures school resources align with educational goals and student needs. We currently have two spots available if anyone is interested. 
Core Responsibilities

  • School Improvement: Helps develop, review, and update the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
  • Budget Oversight: Reviews and approves how specific state and federal funding (such as Title I dollars) is allocated.
  • Academic Focus: Evaluates academic data and progress to help recommend strategies that boost student achievement.
  • Community Voice: Provides a direct platform for parents and staff to share input on school policies and priorities.

  • How to Submit: Hand-deliver to the front office or submit via email/parent square.
  • Front Office Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Current Applicants: 2 parents signed up (2 spots available).
